Turnup Tuesdays

Turn – Up Tuesday is a Free Outdoor Community Music Concert Series from June 29th – September 7th. This series is being presented in a DiSilvestro Playground partnership with Lorraine Yarborough, of Jazz and Other Soulful Sounds (JOTSS). This project greatly impacts not only the current park users- the families, teens, and adults representing 27 different global cultures, but also provides an opportunity for elderly Philadelphians to get out of their homes and socialize in a safe and creative environment. The goal of this project is to provide a variety of musical performances that represent these different cultures. Not only jazz, but Caribbean, AAIP, Latin, Motown, Middle Eastern, etc.
