Register for the PMAY and School District’s Shared Professional Development Day
A virtual event on May 13.
The Philadelphia Music Alliance for Youth’s (PMAY) and School District of Philadelphia are presenting a virtual Shared Professional Development Day on May 13.
There will be nine presenters for interactive sessions that will will be on topics like:
- “The performance process” and performance psychology
- Student engagement through culturally-relevant pedagogy
- Autism in the classroom
- Online technology tools
- Beatmaking and digital music creation in your learning space
- and more!
Speakers include Dr. Suzanne Hall, the Associate Professor of Music Education at Temple University; Performance psychologist Noa Kageyama, a faculty member of The Juilliard School and the New World Symphony; Gregory Offner, a globally-recognized expert on performance; the Founder and CEO of Global Performance Institute; Dr. Zuly Inirio, an Afro-Latina opera singer, scholar, and mental health advocate in the arts; and Mark Wong, co-founder the award-winning educational ensemble Hip Hop Fundamentals.
