DESCRIPTION:Saxophonist Carl Cox to perform for Jazz Bridge Fundraiser in Collingswood Neighborhood Concert\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nJazz Bridge Vice Present Kevin Johnson proudly hosts “Jazz in the Wood\,” First Thursdays Neighborhood Concerts at the Collingswood Community Center\, 30 Collings Ave\, Collingswood\, NJ 08108. \nPlease join us on January 6\, 2022 as we welcome saxophonist Carl Cox to Collingswood. This is a special fundraiser to benefit Jazz Bridge. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. \nTickets: $20 at the door\, $15 online in advance at Eventbrite. Students admission is $5 with ID and children under 12 years old get in for free! But you must register at Eventbrite. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. PROOF OF VACCINATION IS REQUIRED. \nCarl Cox is a freelance touring saxophonist and recording artist from Southern New Jersey. Carl can be seen performing nationally and abroad with a variety of musical icons throughout the course of the year. His expertise on saxophone can be heard on a variety of major recordings\, live performances and national radio. \nCarl grew up in Deptford\, NJ where he is currently teaching high school music and sharing his passion of performance to his younger students. He received his Bachelor’s degree in saxophone performance and Masters in Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During his time at University of the Arts\, Carl had the opportunity to showcase his talent to other bands and musicians in the area where he began performing local weddings and private events.
